We purchase roughly 60% of our customers top-end heifers.... (read more) Before breeding we cull out about 4% of the heifers that aren't performing as well as we would like. After the initial preg-check we cull another 5% for soundness, efficiency and disposition.

All heifers are on a full vaccination program. They were given 2 rounds of 7-Way, Pinkeye, Bovigold 5 and were poured with Dectomax. They were also given Bovigold FP 5 VL5 HB prior to breeding.
After ultrasounding, the heifers were grouped by calving dates. They will be re-pregged the day before load out.

Breeding Information:
Black Baldy Heifers AI'd to the high maternal, calving-ease sire Ellingson Icon 5062. Red Baldy Heifers and Commercial Hereford bred heifers AI’d to WFL Profitmaker E7030.

October 1st we estimate they’ll be around 975-1025 lbs. At maturity about 1300-1400 lbs.
