Flint is one of the roping steers we kept for a while to get him nice and fat and gentle. He isn’t super tame, not as much as our personal one, but I’m spending every day with him, hand feeding him and trying to creep up his nose and face to pet him like I did the others. Since Corrientes are a docile breed, it shouldn’t take long before he’s puppy dog tame. He’d be great to help keep agriculture exemption, to practice roping on, or to just have a buddy running around in the yard.... (read more) Corrientes can live on scraps and are a very hearty, tough breed of cattle. Message me for any questions, extra photos or videos of him! He was dehorned when we got him but unlike the others, his horns seem to be growing back the more he eats and the bigger he gets!
Location says Weatherford but the cattle and horses are kept in Cleburne Texas
Update: It’s July 29th and he’s eating cubes out of my hand and chasing me down for the bucket! I actually have a video of it all on my YouTube now!!
